Every year, IPL is held and watched with great enthusiasm by cricket lovers around the globe. The sixteenth edition of the Indian Premier League is about to kick start. All ten franchises have started their homework of selecting their teams and squads to emerge victorious in the upcoming season. Ten teams in the IPL will be seen fighting against each other to win the trophy. IPL has unveiled some extraordinary players. New players are added to the auction list this year, so now it is up to the franchise to choose and whom to release. IPL 2023 Teams and Squads
The League usually witnesses excellent performances by the world’s best players. The team owners will announce the players’ list. In an IPL auction, the respective teams’ owners and franchises decide on the players they will add to their teams. The team will consist of bowlers, batters, and fielders mainly.
Some players are retained and released yearly, and many new players are added to each team. The trial matches will begin soon. The IPL 2023 players will be declared shortly.

IPL 2023 Auction Date
BCCI will host the Auction on December 23, 2022, at Kochi. In the Auction, team owners and franchises will purchase their players. Every team wants the best players, so there is a chance that they choose the same players that are already a part of the respective team.
IPL Auction 2023 rules
BCCI will host a mini-auction to select the teams and squads of IPL 2023. There are specific rules of this auction that are compulsory to be followed by every franchise.
- No franchise is allowed to buy players beyond their purse value.
- Each team must spend at least 75% of its total.
- The Right to Match option will not be available to franchises.
- The number of players in each team should be at most 25, while each squad should have a minimum of 18 players.
- Each franchise can have a maximum of 25 Indian players and a minimum of 17 Indian players.
- Similarly, each franchise has a maximum of 8 international players in the squad, but there’s no capping on the lower limit.
IPL 2023 Auction Purse Value
The auction will be held at the end of December this year. In the auction, official players and squads will be finalized. BCCI confirms that 5 crores have increased the purse value of all teams from the previous amount of 90 crores, making it a total of INR 95 crores for each team. Out of their whole purse value, they must spend at least 75% of their total amount during the auction event.

IPL T-20 Rules 2023
As you know, every game has some rules. Here we disclose the rules of IPL 2023. The team owners will buy the best players by considering their performances last year. Each team franchise should follow the rules of IPL T-20. The teammates who didn’t play nicely will be released into the suction pool, and the team will give money in their wallets.
