Finally, the PSL 8 2023 has started with a colorful opening ceremony in Multan.
In the glittering opening ceremony of Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 8, the fans finally ended their long wait as the tournament officially began here at Multan Cricket Stadium. Aima Baig sang the national anthem at this year’s glittering opening ceremony.
Asim Azhar, Farish Shafi, and Shae Gill, who sang this year’s PSL anthem Sab Sitaray Humaray performed the anthem live at the opening ceremony, following the national anthem. Besides them, Sahir Bagga also performed at the opening ceremony along with others.
Multan hosted its opening ceremony for the first time this year, satisfying the audience. Following the glittering opening ceremony, defending champions Lahore Qalandars have taken on home side Multan Sultans in the curtain raiser, which commenced at 8:30 PM (PST), and Lahore has put 175 on the board in MSvsLQ.
