A crucial player, Ravindra Jadeja, started his IPL career in the inaugural season of the Indian Premier League in 2009, representing Rajasthan Royals and coming victorious. He scored 135 runs from 14 matches at a strike rate of 131.06. His performance improved season by season. Shane Warne, captain of Rajasthan Royals, regarded him as a “Superstar in the making,” so he got the title of “Rockstar ” then.
Ups and Downs
Jadeja’s IPL career has had many ups and downs. He had to face severe bashing, and he was out of IPL in 2010 due to a ban arising from contractual irregularities. In 2011 he was bought by Kochi Tuskers Kerela, but it was terminated from IPL 2011.
