They said,” we are not happy with Jadeja’s injury. He should keep the World Cup in mind while doing adventurous activities. But he was irresponsible and did not think the World Cup was on the way. We are not happy with this action of Jadeja.”

Jadeja slipped and injured his right knee during the Asia Cup 2022. He was ruled out after the first two games of the event against Pakistan and Hong Kong. On Tuesday, Jadeja underwent knee surgery, and after the surgery, Jadeja posted on Instagram and announced the surgery was successful.  

Jadeja recently said in a post, “The surgery was successful. There are many people to thank for their support and involvement -BCCI, my teammates, support staff, physios, doctors, and fans. I will start my rehab soon and try to get back as soon as I can. Thanks to everyone for your kind wishes”. 

The Star all-rounder Jadeja has played very well in all formats this year. He played nine T20I innings this year, hit 201 runs with an average of 50.25, and took five wickets in this format with best figures of 1/15.

He played five test innings this year and hit 328 runs with an average of 82. And in 2 ODIs innings, he scored 36 runs with an average of 36. He has also taken a wicket in this format.
