IPL Teams to Submit List of Retained Players by November 15

The 10 IPL franchises have been asked to submit the list of retained players by November 15. Recently, a senior official franchise member said on last Sunday. Therefore, the date of the Auction has yet to be finalized. But it is expected the IPL mini Auction 2023 to be held on December 23 in Kochi (ESPN Cricinfo).

In addition to the money left over from the previous IPL Auction, each team will have an additional INR 5 crore. Each team can spend that 5 crores at the IPL auction. It will lead to the team having a purse of INR 95 crore.

After the Indian Premier League 2022 mega Auction, Punjab Kings had the largest purse, INR 3.45 crore. Chennai super kings had INR 2.95 crore remaining, and Royal Challengers Bangalore had INR 1.55 crore.

On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals had INR 0.95 crore, and Kolkata Knight Riders had INR 0.45 crore. Gujarat Titans had INR 0.15 crore, and three teams- Mumbai Indian, Sunrise Hyderabad, and Delhi capitals Had INR 0.10 crore.

After the Indian premier league mega auction 2022, Lucknow Super Giants were the only team that had exhausted their full purse.

In IPL mini Auction 2022, three franchises set a target to pick Cameron green and are ready to spend a massive amount of money to pick Camron Green. All-rounders are always a valuable asset in every team. Hence, the franchise has always preferred a strong set of all-rounders in her team.
